Dagný has over twelve years of specialist IP experience. She began her career at an IP firm in Reykjavík before spending nine years at the Icelandic Intellectual Property Office (ISIPO), most recently as Head of the IP Department, and two years as an Opposition Decision Taker at the EUIPO in Alicante.

This combination of experience, inside ISIPO, within the EUIPO's Opposition Division and in private practice, means she knows trademark proceedings from both sides of the table.

She is admitted to the Icelandic Bar, is qualified to represent clients before the ISIPO and the EUIPO, and holds an LLM in Technology Law from the University of Edinburgh.
